Resolved Question: Why was JOHN HOLMES never really hard? Always floppy schlong?
I have done a Research project in the sexual morays and rapid change in the way the general public accepts pornographic materials, etc. 30 years ago these XXX rated movies and printed matter were felonies, and the studios were commonly raided and confiscated, and the owners and anyone in the vicinity arrested for violating obscenity laws. Even your local VHS (remember those?) rental stores (tiny independents) had a back room for adults to rent the latest porn movie, and they were often raided and the tiny owners jailed and the family business destroyed. I have viewed over 1200 hours of porn from the 1930's on up to today, John Holmes was the king, Linda Lovelace the queen, both performers have brought in a staggering BILLION dollars EACH in total revenue generated, more than Gone with the wind and the Titanic combined! Almost none of this went the them or there estates. Anyway, John Holmes had a 13 inch Tootsie roll, but he could never, even before cocaine, receive rock difficult! There are 4 current actors now in the business with 13 inch or 14 inch tools that can receive difficult as rock, I asked a doctor and he said Viagra makes the capillaries dilate in the wang, and thus blood flows to every part freely, thus firming the dick. John used a horse bladder irritant deluded that breeders use to make a horse receive uncomfortably difficult and desire an immediate ejaculation, he had no Viagra in the 1970's and 80's. Without that he might have been, like his former wife said, impotent! If anyone has stumbled upon any Research on Johns unusual problem, let me know. Also, the 11th is Veterans day! Lets remember that John was an honorably discharged Army vet! As was...Marvin Gaye, Rick James, Richard Prior, Elvis, and porno star "Aunt Peg"

Resolved Question: Am I violating my rental agreement/overnight guest policy? (CALIFORNIA)?
I've been renting a studio apartment in this particular building since March 2011. I received 2 (one that i vehemently contest) noise complaints within my first month of tenancy. The problem was identified and corrected and haven't had any problems since. Both of these noise complaints, however, were not even confirmed to have been me (ie no one came to my door to confirm the noise was coming from here, they just assumed and called and the building manager didn't confirm either). My significant other lives in the UK (I'm in California by the way, that might help) so visits are a bit longer than the '3 consecutive night' clause my rental agreement stipulates. I am required to give written notification of an extended stay visitor, which I did. I was denied the request and the two previous noise complaints (from 10 months ago, no complaints since then!) were cited as reason. He (my significant other) is going to be visiting me next week and will need to stay with me for 10 nights, 2 of which will be spent away as we are taking a short road trip. I'm hoping to receive away with having him stay 3 nights, we accident elsewhere the 4th night, arrive back the 5th night and stay 2 nights, etc etc.. so never having him stay more than 3 CONSECUTIVE nights.. nice of a loophole. The rental agreement clearly states CONSECUTIVE repeatedly so I'm thinking I'm in the clear but wanted some advice. The building manager is pretty confrontational and when we discussed this last time, she actually mentioned it might be best for me to move out at the end of my lease instead of "trying to renew". She cited the noise complaints I received to have been "caused by him (significant other) when he was here last time" so i feel like she'll be watching us closely as she now knows the dates he'll be in town. To be honest, I feel like I'm being targeted for some reason and mistreated. Would she have any right to evict me for simply being sassy and finding a loophole?

Resolved Question: Are there any disadvantages to using tv tuner card instead of a cable box?
I was thinking of getting a tv tuner so we wouldn't have to pay for the cable box rental. I'm looking at dual or more tuners. I saw the ceton infinitytv4 ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815706001 ) and the hdhomerun prime ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815345006 ). Are there any disadvantages over using a cable box, the one I have right now is the motorola DCX3400-M, I have comcast. I have a router, a dell studio xps 9000 with a gtx 260 and some expansion bays, it uses a 1920x1080 20.5" dell sx2210. I also have an old, crappy sony trinitron from 2000ish. My parents want to watch tv on that and I want to watch tv on my computer, I have a comfortable seat. So, what would be some disadvantages, if any of using a tv tuner instead of a cable box? I have hbo

I just got a job in Orlando close Universal Studios and I was wondering what are some good places to look for an apartment/rental in the area. Resolved Question: Tenants from nightmare on Elm street?
So I got these tenants who are relatively young war Iraqi veterans. I did my part to help our soldiers arrive back and resettle back to civillian live. But to make a long story short they have been having problems with the pumbing but they never mention it. They got use to the harsh live in Iraq with every the "wounded warrior" stuff they seem to go through. So they finally busted out and told me so I gave them a generous discount the month before and I got the pumbing fixed. Later on the next month the pumbler did not do a good job of fixing the pumbling and the same problem occurred and I got blamed for not acting quick enough. Anyway one of the tenants jumped me and I made a police report. But I gave into my better side and decided to drop the charges and we began to talk. I wrote them a letter saying that they did not have to pay the full amount on the rental property as long as they fix the place. The place is more of a studio and not an actual apt. They claim to have contacted a lawyer and said they had 30 days to find a place. Yet I have a police report and scared they will do something harsh for pursuing this discourse. What should i do? they also are growing weed at the apartment complex.

Resolved Question: Health and Safety law - customer toilets in a workshop studio?
Hi.. we are opening up a tiny retail store selling sewing fabrics and accessories, but we will also offer the onsite rental of sewing machines and run sewing workshops. We have rented a tiny retail store which has a tiny separate toilet and sink in the basement. We are a limited partnership with no employees. The basement and the stairs going down to the basement have a headroom of about 1.85m but for some reason the door to the toilet is only about 1.7m high (ie you have to duck to receive in). We don't want to publicise the toilet but there may be occassion when someone hires a machine for the afternoon, or during a workshop, that needs to use a toilet. What is the law on letting customers use the basement toilet? thanks Thanks for your answer. Is the fact its in a basement with lower than 2m headheight pose any problems?.. what about flame escape regulations?.. and one further question; what if we wanted to occassionally use the basement during workshops (ie customers would be in the basement) for cutting out fabric?.. Does that sound acceptable?.. many thanks

Resolved Question: Orlando/Disney vacation---couple of questions?
My family is going to Orlando and staying at Disneyworld for a week at the end of may. We are trying to decide which park to go to on sat. may 26---i know its memorial day weekend so it will be busy at the parks but we cant decide whether to go to magic kingdom (it would be our second day there) or hollywood studios (their having star wars that weekend) or seaworld (they are open tardy that day). Which park do you think would be the best crowdwise that day? Also a couple of our friends from Jacksonville are taking a 4 day weekend in Orlando and staying at a different hotel (not a disney one). We wanted them to go swimming with us on sun. may 27. We thought they could park at downtown disney and we could pick them up in our rental car and bring them to our hotel (pop century) and they could swim with us there. We've stayed at pop century before and never had to prove we were staying there to swim in the pools so do you think we could receive away with having our friends swim there with us? Thanks for any input!

Resolved Question: Question about a lease?
Okay, this is a lot, so please read patiently... Basically, I want to know in this scenario how likely I am to be sued or left alone. I am currently leasing a studio apartment that I have been staying in for 8 months. It is an 11 month contract that is due to end in mid-July. Back in December, just 4 months after my first lease began, I was obligated to renew it for another year. I say obligated because at the time I thought that I would have to stay for another year. Anyway, I am relocating in mid-May. I know that I am responsible for rent at least until July, when my first lease term ends. I just need to know the likelihood of being stuck with rental payments even up to July 2013 below the renewed lease. I applied for a release form and stated that I will move out by June 1. My lease was signed with a management company, and they are the ones I am afraid of. My apartment has flooded several times, which my landlord is fully aware of and took care of. My landlord also told me (over the telephone) that I will not have to pay rent for another year after I move. Even with that, I am still not completely reassured. My landlord told me that she holds more power than the management company since she owns the apartment, but they still scare me. What are the possible ramifications of leaving and essentially breaking my renewed lease before it even begins? Does the landlord hold more power than the management company? What should I do about it? I know I sound like a complete wuss, but I am really ignorant and desperate to resolve this situation in the best way for everyone involved. My broke a$$ cannot afford to pay rent for another year in a place I won't even be living in....:( There was no early termination clause in the lease. The only thing I have to go on is a verbal assurance by the landlord that I will not be responsible for rent for another year. Should I receive it in writing?

Resolved Question: I'm 19, work part time, am a full time student, most likely moving out, and I need financial assistance....?
I currently am a full time student at a community college and I work a part-time job (about 30 hrs/wk) making 9.15/hr. ...I applied for financial aid early this year for the semester I am in right now, but the aid is still being processed. On the form, I had to file as "dependent" so I put down my info and my parents info. Here's the thing, my parents aren't helping me pay for college. I buy my possess school books, clothes, food, toiletries, phone bill, incidentals, etc. ...I don't have a car, but when I receive one I will pay for it and my possess insurance, gas. I don't have any health insurance. Now, my fafsa does not show that. It shows that my mom is a full time nurse, my dad is self-employed with rental properties. And the state expects them to contribute. Here's the other thing. My home is very tiny. I share a 9X9 room with my 2 other sisters. I feel very crammed. It's noisy and not very organized. On top of that, our home has a bad roof, which my parents are trying to fix. There is actually leaks in every room. The ceiling fan light in my room does not work, as the last storm we had really did some damage to it, and also part of the ceiling's drywall fell (my parents clip it out and put a patch type piece of drywall in it's place.) On top of that, my dad is, I think, emotionally abusive. So it's a stressful situation. However, I have gotten A's on everything so far this semester. I am really thinking about moving out of my home. Either receive a studio, or take up the offer my cousin has given me and to move in with her. Today I was enlightened about how much financial help is available out there. I was wondering what I would qualify if I move out... Financial aid has this weird thing where you have to be 24 to be considered independent, but as I understand it, you can talk to them about your situation. I really don't know that much about the welfare system. I could really use some help at this time, though. That way, I could better myself and be a productive person. I don't really even know where to start... Advice, anyone, please? Thank you!

Resolved Question: I need help with my vacation (WDW & USO) 10 POINTS?
Okay, so in May my family was planning on going to Orlando and going to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. After using Priceline, Expedia and Orbitz, I found that Priceline was the cheapest for 2-day tickets to Islands of Adventure, a hotel room for 6 nights at the Radisson, and four day tickets for Walt Disney World. After adding it every up (including round-trip airfare, rental car and hotel room) I found that the price would be $3000. But then I realized, that's not really a lot for that much stuff is it? I mean, that seems a little cheap for a trip to two theme parks, a nice hotel, a car and airfare. Is it? Can you help? Thanks a lot!

Resolved Question: QUESTION ABOUT APARTMENT RENTALS IN LA?
Hi! I am looking into renting an apartment with 2 other girls in Culver City, Studio City and Miracle Mile, basically west hollywood area. I rented an apartment in Atlanta Ga (where I am now) and I lived out my lease and had NO problems besides I am still making payments on this cable that my old roommate left for me to do. I was wondering if I go about renting an apartment in LA do they check credit history or just rental history? I know they check if you have enough income to cover 3 times your rent which is another problem since I haven't worked for 2 months, so recent paystub isn't going to be possible. How can I go about renting an apartment. I know I can pay the rent and the two other girls also since its in our price range. Just need more info. Thanks in advance! @writer -- I can ask yahoo answers anything I want. You on the other hand don't need to respond if you have a problem. Thanks!

Resolved Question: Help on Manhattan investment rental property?
I am looking to invest 100000 to 150000 into a studio apartment/condo in Manhattan. If the building managers can handle finding people I could rent to to make it easier that would be great. Does anyone have any advice on how to receive started. It would be a down payment.

Resolved Question: I need to rent a high end camcorder, and I need advice?
I am making a short film (a very short film.) I want to receive a professional grade camcorder. I was originally looking into the Sony EX3, but for a three or four day rental, it'd cost almost $600 on most websites. I want to rent a camera for around three days, but it most fit into a certain criteria. 1. The rental must be below $350 for the three days. 2. The picture quality must be amazing. I don't care about sound, as it will be stripped out regardless, and dubbed over with an external microphone that we already possess. 3. Must look nice in low light conditions (Studio lights will be gift, but the scenes will still be rather dark.) 4. There is no security deposit. If I could afford a $2,000 security deposit, I'd have my guys pitch in and just buy a camera. Haha. If you guys could recommend a good camera, find me a link to a cheap, and safe renter, and possibly post some footage of it in work. Whoever can nail the most optimal camera for me will definitely receive the best answer, and a thank you on our video. Thanks everyone. I'm thinking the Canon XF105, what do you guys think?

Resolved Question: I don't want to think about it, but I do?
My life seems over, at 50, I am unemployed, single, penniless, and recently homeless. My ex-girlfriend of 25 years ago took me in. Our relationship is good one for the most part, but there isn't possibility of a romantic one anymore, because of reasons too complicated to mention-but I adore her very much. The thing is every I can think about is suicide, because I can't find work, money is very low, and I am sharing a studio apartment with my ex, it's very uncomfortable, and there isn't much in the way of furniture. I snooze on an air mattress that isn't very good, air escapes it during the night, and I can feel the floor below me. I've lost ten pounds since I've been here, my ex cooks very little, and I try not to be home in the early evening, so she can have some privacy, because neither one of has any. Sleeping has been very challenging, because my ex has severe allergies that affect her while she's asleep, and she awakens several times during the night. While I am grateful and humble for her being so nice, and generous. There is a point of shame that never escapes me, I don't really know how to describe it, but I feel almost invisible, but not really. I don't look my age, and every day I am online or in the city looking for work. Most of my things are in storage, but the rental fee is due, and I am in dire straights to figure out how I will pay this fee, or my things will be auctioned off. My ex is always money short, so there's no borrowing from her, and I have exhausted every resource, including family. Survival is the key, and I don't have a door to walk through to call my possess. every I can think of is, I won't be a burden to anyone, if I'm no longer here. I keep asking God if I will make it through this? I receive nothing, I've been praying for three years, so I have stopped praying for the time being.

Resolved Question: Landlord issues...are we being screwed over?
Four months ago, my husband and I and our toddler were forced to move to Florida quite suddenly for personal reasons relating to a death in the family (we are in the process of becoming guardians of my husband's nephew, whose mom died very suddenly, and to do so, we will have to live in Florida for an unsure amount of time). With just a few days notice, we had to leave behind our careers, our friends, abandon our lease, etc. We drove a UHaul here from the Northeast, and found a hotel to stay in while we quickly searched for an apartment. Since my husband was adamant about not wanting to have our toddler stay in a cheap hotel, we spent over 2 weeks in an expensive hotel during peak tourist season, so we were spending a fortune, which made finding a rent quickly even more crucial (we were living on our savings since we left our jobs up North). Not knowing anything about the area, we were left at the mercy of a real estate agent to find us a rental. We have credit issues following a failed business venture from a couple years ago, which made things even harder. Finally, we were taken (during the day) to look a 3 bedroom home which was lovely and clean and had a huge yard and even a detached workshop, perfect for me to use as a studio. I felt we had lucked out, and we quickly signed a year's lease and moved in. The rent is $1600 per month, and we paid first, last and one month security. Since the home is managed by a property management company, we have no knowledge of or dealings with the actual landlord. The guy who runs the property management company knew we were desperate to receive in quickly, and in hindsight, I think he took advantage of that. Initially we were told by him that this was a great neighborhood. We were also told that the detached workshop would be ours to use, and that the management company provided every maintenance and landscaping services. In the lease, which was a standard form they use for every their properties, it lists every the things that they are responsible for: maintenance, providing hurricane shutters, pest control, etc. I did notice that pest control was crossed out in pen, but thought nothing of it. Well, lo and behold, almost immediately, we realized that this is NOT a great neighborhood, especially at night. There is a battered women's shelter next door, which is just a regular home (no sign or anything), but there is a lot of noise and activity coming from there, including yelling and crying, etc. Our yard is also a bus cease for about 20 kids from an alternative high school, so we are woken at 6:15 every morning to their rowdiness and even a few fist fights. The people in our neighborhood are trashy and rowdy and noisy. A couple weeks into our tenancy, we noticed several other things: the "landscaping" we were promised consists of monthly mowing, and the maintenance people began using the workshop in our yard to store their supplies (ladders, stones, bags of mulch, etc...which aren't even for use on our property!). Also, there seem to be mice in the attic, and I fear they carry mites or fleas, as well as wasps up there, which we know someone was aware of since we found cans of wasp spray below the sink. My husband has removed the wasp nest, but it keeps coming back. We also have a problem with sugar ants, which we more or less control ourselves. On top of every that, there seems to be pigeon and other birds nests on the roof, because we have about a hundred dirty pigeons in our yard every morning. I feel that the property management hid every these problems from us. There are also a lot of minor but annoying problems...leaky sinks, lack of screens, the sprinkler system doesn't work, doors missing the seals that keep out drafts and bugs, etc. On top of every THIS, I admit that because we are adapting to living on about half the salary we used to (my husband found a new job down here immediately, but he makes much less than he did back home in the same position), the rent has been paid tardy each month, but only by a couple of days. (Rent is due on the 1st of the month, and I always pay it on the 3rd or 4th...never later than the 5th, though). So, although I am unable to receive the management company to help me with anything (they act like I'm nagging them if I ask them to fix a leak, etc.), they did call yesterday to say that my rent HAD to be paid on the first from now on or they would evict me! Is this legal? In Connecticut, I know you legally have til the 10th, but maybe Florida doesn't allow a grace period at every? Am I wrong, or is this property management company complete bullish*t? @ the kid...Thanks for your answer, but you are incorrect. There is, in fact, a 10 day grace period in Connecticut, by law, as well as in a few other states. The reason I know this is because I worked for Remax Rentals in Plainville CT for many years, and even passed the principles&practices course and exam and earned a CT real estate license, which I never pursued. Resolved Question: Inexpensive Pet Friendly Apartments in Rochester, NY?
My fiance and I are trying desperately difficult to find rental space (apartments) in Rochester, NY (specifically the West Henrietta area) that allow pets. We're looking for a studio or one bedroom apartment - not a whole lot of space, for below $700/month - utilities included would be a huge bonus. Everywhere we look charges an extra $50 per pet (which is insane) - we just have a cat and a tiny 12-lb dog and are looking to move in the next couple months. If anyone knows of a place that might fit this description - please help!

Resolved Question: CAN SOMEONE PLEASE READ MY PERSONNEL NARRATIVE ESSAY?
I really need some help with my conclusion. I know I am supposed to be like super descriptive but this is my first personnel narrative so please help me! Also I found this site to receive free netflix and it really works so I just want to spread the word: freenetflixnow.blogspot.com I finally got into my seat. After rushing every mourning to receive the suitcases into the car, park the car, go through security, wait in the huge line to enter the plane, I was about to start my trip to California. I was finally relaxed waiting in the seat next to my brother and with our Mom and Dad in back of us. The flight attendant was showing us how to use the life jacket but to be honest I really couldn’t even look over my seat so I just looked out the window. It seemed like I was only five feet from the ground in a fifteen foot long aircraft. But when I looked around at the other planes and they seem huge. Luggage is being thrown in to the bottom of another plane. It made me think of what it was like underneath the plane I was on. I feel my back receive pushed up on the seat as the plane starts to move. It is nice of weird how those tiny wheels can move this huge plane. Soon we were lined up on the runway. every of sudden the plane shoots forward as I we take off. The flight attendant gave us drinks with the standard Southwest Airlines napkin with a picture of the U. S. on it. I looked at Rhode Island and California and they seemed so far apart. I listened to music and watched a movie to pass the time. We passed over the Grand Canyon and it just seemed like a deserted place. I couldn’t believe how big it was. The Canyon just seemed like a huge hole in the Earth. When we finally landed I couldn’t wait to stand up and stretch. It was tardy at night so we drove our rental car to the hotel and went right to bed. I was so sleepy and my back hurt from sitting in the same seat every day. I was so excited for tomorrow. I woke up, took a shower, and got dressed. I went down the elevator to receive some breakfast. We left the hotel to go to Universal Studios. This is where most of the movies are made. Universal was so fun. I got to look how the movies were made, some of the actual sets they used, there were a lot of shows too, and I there were some really chilly rides. every the rides have a theme to a certain movie like Jurassic Park or The Simpsons. There is a really chilly King Kong show where you go into a room with the screen every around you and you receive to watch a scene from King Kong in 3D and also in a 360 view. At universal there is a remake of New York. It is like a whole town with buildings streets and can be decorated to be used in any movie at any time period. It is also used in some commercials. We went to Universal Studios the next day too. One day in Universal is not enough to go on every the rides and look every the attractions. The park is so big and it still seemed crowded with people both days we went there. The weather in California is great. It is never super hot or icy and stays around 85 degrees every year round. Wherever we were, we could look at least one mountain. There are so many mountains in California and many people live on them. In some parts of California you can look around you and it seems like the mountains have surrounded you like a huge wall. We drove up the coast of California on the mountains to a new hotel. We could look the beach the whole time. We visited my Mom’s pal who she met in Ireland. She was my Mom’s neighbor. Everyone seemed very tense on the last day we spent in California. We couldn’t miss our flight. We got in to the car as quick as we could. When we got to the airport we quickly got something to eat and got in line to board the plane. Waiting in line made me realize how quick this vacation went by. It was so fun though. The plane took off and soon we were soaring over the clouds. When we got off the plane it seemed so icy because we were used to the warm weather. We got our suitcases as they came around the conveyor belt. We got in to our regular car and drove back home. California seems like a totally different place from New England epically since the climate doesn’t change very much. It is a great place to go to for vacation because there are many things to do there. Universal Studios is a very interesting place and can be so much fun for anyone. SOME OF THE PARAGRAPH INDENTS DIDNT WORK WHEN I COPIED AND PASTED JUST TO LET YOU every KNOW Also I found this site to receive free netflix and it really works so I just want to spread the word: freenetflixnow.blogspot.com Also I found this site to receive free netflix and it really works so I just want to spread the word: freenetflixnow.blogspot.com Also I found this site to receive free netflix and it really works so I just want to spread the word: freenetflixnow.blogspot.com Also I found this site to receive free netflix and it really works so I just want to spread the word: freenetflixnow.blogspot.com

Voting Question: My Husband is not stepping up to provide for us.?
My husband and I have been married for 9 years, i have been the main provider for 8 of those years. I have become permanently disabled last year and receiving disability. My husband was still in collage and working part-time for the airlines when we got married. He had a promising career as an airline mechanic. About a year into our marriage I realized he was not very motivated to find a career that would support us since I have a good job and good income. For the eight years we struggled with the issue of him getting a job that would support us or at least be the main income for our family. I have been disabled for the last nine months and it is not looking like I will ever be able to return to my job. In the beginning I was getting my full income and was looking like I would be able to go back to work, however over the last five months I am only receiving 60% of my income which is $2,000 a month. I will be loosing that income in less than a year and will be getting SSDI if approved, however that will only be around a 1,000 a month. We have discussed our income needs several times and he has more than once told me I'm going to have to learn to live with what he can offer. He is only making about 18,000 a year gross. He no long works in the airlines at every, he has changed carriers three times over the last 9 years. He is now working as an independent fitness and CPR instructor and driving cab the days he does not have classes to tutor. I am very frustrated because I know we will not make it on 18,000 a year. I have suggested we move to a studio apartment and he has not agreed. I have told him we need to clip down on several of our expenses that we could live without. One being his cellphone that runs us about a hundred a month. Also Nexflix, movie rentals, and eating out. He laughs at me and says there is no reason to clip back until we can't pay it. Savings is not something in his vocabulary. His backup plan if we can't make it on his income alone is that we will move three states away from our friends, family and his kids and live with is parents. I am so frustrated that I'm about ready to open a new savings account and tell him that my disability from work has been stopped and have it deposited into the savings. I am hoping this would maybe encourage him to receive it together. I adore my husband so much and he is a wonderful man. This is really the only issue we have ever had even though it has been through out our whole marriage. I have been really struggling with not losing respect for my husband because of this issue. To add fuel to the flame my ex-husband, who is remarried and has four adopted kids, is trying to convince me that I should leave my current husband and he will take care of me. That we can be together again and start over. This has been really difficult to keep out of my mind as I still and will always adore my ex, however we did not have a healthy marriage. I feel very overwhelmed with one my disability and adjusting to that, my husband not stepping up financially and know my ex trying to win me back. I need some advice as to how to deal with my husband and his unwilling to provide for our family, and also my ex and how to receive him to cease trying to win me back. And I can't just cease seeing my ex as we have three family members that are married to each others families. We look each other on a regular basis so this has mad it difficult to avoid his request, offers and him in general. Many of you had some really good insight. It has been a really big adjustment for us every. I am frustrated, but have NO intention of leaving my husband. He is a wonderful man and takes great care of me, his kids (which I call ours) and our home. He is just having a difficult time understanding that my income will be clip by 22,000 plus the other 20,000 I made in overtime and bonuses. I am not use to being dependent on anyone for anything and it scares me very much that It will mostly be up to him to provide for us. I didn't really look at the fact that we will be making 30,000 together with my SSDI and that makes me feel a lot better just in it's self. I have been going to counseling a lot more over the last year and we have had several sessions with both of us with the counselor. The counselor has told him that he has to take the financial pressure off me, and he did for a while. He just does not look what our future holds without my usual income of almost 60,000. I never really tho

Resolved Question: significant other has been searching odd sites add to weird behavior?
I posted a question earlier about my relationship and how my bf was using threats of leaving and how we have a child together and one from another relationship. we have trouble talking thru our issues-i dont talk about them because no matter what i say he refuses to look my point or to acknowledge any of my points or that the things he's done were hurtful and wrong. So we try talking again-after he gets off the phone with his mom im assuming-and later I find that he looked up her city. he was searching for a 2 bd rental every the way across the country. just last week i saw he left open an add for a fancy downtown studio apt that happens to be the same cost as our 3 bd home. I also saw he searched for security cameras and hidden nanny cams and smoke detector cams. This every comes after him actively snooping in my phone and coming up empty handed. I keep getting the feeling he's looking for a way out but when I confront him he doesnt say anything. we're in our mid 20s so sometimes i feel like he feels trapped with us. Im a stay at home parent that also works from the home so clearly he wants to use these to spy on my. I've never cheated. I never even go out or talk to males anymore. I have 2 friends pretty much and my family and I spend every my time with my family so I dont understand where this weird behavior is coming from. I dont know what to do because im afraid he'll freak out if i even bring these searches up.

Resolved Question: Disney World Budgeting Questions?
Ok so I am going to Disney world in the summer of 2013 and I had some questions. Regards budgeting and other things. 1. I plan on bringing a refillable water bottle and I was wondering I know the water is safe but are there minerals and stuff in it that could bother me being used to water from a different area ( I know ridiculous but I am sensitive to that stuff) 2. Is spending an extra hundred dollars to receive the park hopper For the whole week worth it compared to just three full days? 3. How much money on food would be spent there if I was having one to two meals but bringing my possess snacks. 4. How busy do you think it will be the week after memorial day ( basically the first/second weekend in June) 5. Do you have any other tips to keep money, we already plan to steer saving money on airfare and rental car and also rent a home so there is more room and a kitchen to make the meals we are home for. 6. Also with the park hopper lets say you pay for parking at the magic kingdom early then go home for lunch and then go to let's say Hollywood studios do you have to pay twice being for two different parks?

Resolved Question: Possible to waive a security deposit on an apartment rental?
I'm a student moving off campus to a studio apartment. I've always been a 'negotiator' type that's open to haggling and always opting for the best deal. However, would this be inappropriate in a rental situation? Or unrealasistic? I'm a grad student and in the past I always shared houses with friends and would rent a room, so this is new to me. The landlord wants $1800 plus a 200 dollar security deposit, which I am trying to receive waived. How probable is this? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks ps. i could pay in cash, the entire amount upfront.

Resolved Question: Can I use work at home jobs and Temporary jobs as sources of income?
I recently got hired at West corporation as a work at home call middle rep. My landlord is complaining about me doing that as I live in boarding home ( She has a stupid rule that we cannot run a business or work at home while living here and she created it after I started stating how I am freelancing and looking for telemarketing jobs) I think she did it because she is mad because I would not loan her 5000USD that was from my student aid. I mainly just stay here until i have a steady paycheck so I can go back into a Studio apartment. I also work at a Day labour temp job when I need or want extra cash. I have been doing that for since July. I am also a College student and I have a 700 for a credit score and have a good rental history. I was never tardy paying rent even while I was unemployed for over a year last year because I was in school. In fact I would proud to use the apartment complex i had stayed at as a reference.

Resolved Question: HELP: Best places to live in the US?
I'm from France and have only been to US a couple times, to SF and LA (so only CA). I'm moving there next year to study with my boyfriend. I wanted to move to SF because I adore the city, the people, the way of life and because there also is good Universities. The problem is that the rentals are a way to expensive. It is almost impossible to find a studio below $900 a month and this is out of my budget! Then I've heard that SF was actually one of the most expensive cities in the US. 1) So I wanted to know what are the nicest cities (if possible big, 400,000 population) with friendly people AND good colleges/universities not too expensive. It can be a suburb. 2) Here is a list of what I've found to be the cheapest places in the US but have no idea if they are nice? If you know them…? Americus, Ga. Springfield, Mo. Paducah, Ky. Salina, Kan. Indianapolis Tennessee: Johnson City, Cookeville, Murfreesboro-Smyrna, Memphis. Pueblo, Colo. Cedar City, Utah Conway, Ark Fort Smith, Ark. Martinsville-Henry County, Va Springfield, sick. Oklahoma: Muskogee, Pryor Creek, Ardmore. Texas: Brownsville, Sherman-Denison, Harlingen, Temple, Wichita Falls, McAllen, Commerce-Hunt County Thank you so much for your help! It really helps me a lot! Lea from France

Resolved Question: Moving to City, Looking for Cheap Apartments?
I am finishing University and my fiance and I are looking into moving into an apartment of our possess, either in Boston, New York, or DC for grad school and work, and I am trying to figure out what our cost of living will look like. I know that it is expensive to receive an apartment anywhere in those cities, but I am wondering what the cheapest possible apartment options would be. I honestly don't care much about what it looks like or the neighborhood, as long as I would feel relatively safe there (I feel safe in most neighborhoods-basically as long as it isn't the worst area of the city I am fine). We only want a one bedroom or a studio apartment. I am having a difficult time finding anything on rental websites. What would you expect would be the cheapest possible (while relatively safe) apartment option in those cities? Especially if you know anything about Boston, as that would probably be our top choice, followed by DC and then New York.

I'm originally from New York. But I'll be moving to Calgary soon. & I've started dancing in a group with my Friends. But since I'm moving I'm guessing I need to do it myself. Like a room that has mirrors on the wall. At least big enough for 6 people to dance in.

Resolved Question: Possibly silly question: Blu-ray / VHS combo player?
Our DVD/VHS combo player died a few weeks ago. I had one in my work studio and we've been using that, figuring one of these weekends we'd go out shopping for a replacement, presumably one that would be able to play the new Blu-Ray format since sooner or later some video rental we're interested in will only be available on Blu-Ray. (Or one Blu-Ray versus multiple DVD disks, etc). I took it for granted that the optical Blu-Ray mechanism would be backwards-compatible with standard commercial and home-burned DVD from the 4 gig thru dual-layer 7.x gig varities. That seems to be the case from what I've glimpsed. Without thinking about it, I also assumed that for an additional extra bit of currency there'd be no problem finding players that did VHS as well as Blu-Ray/DVD. Not seeing that. Hmm.... am I just looking in the wrong places, or looking too early in the life-cycle of Blu-Ray for such devices to have cropped up on the market? (I can readily imagine that early adopters of Blu-Ray would not be the folks with continuing interest in being able to play back VHS tapes as well)

Resolved Question: Where can I find a studio apartment in NYC for under $1000 monthly?
I know apartment rental in NYC is on high competition and demand. I know there are some deals somewhere, but how can you find them if you do not currently live there? I cannot afford anything over $1000, i'm hoping to find a nice realtor who can understand, or an area that is safe, yet very affordable for young lady looking for silent place to live. Somewhere cheap, yet not so cheap that it's an ovious scam.

Resolved Question: I want to move out - need advice on a few points?
I'm heading for age 23 now we're in 2012, and I'd really like to move out of my family home once and for permanent. I've had one moving out experience with some friends last year that went terribly and resulted in me coming home. So this time I would like to move alone, but I don't know where to start. I've been looking online to move somewhere in my area, but results are pretty few and quite expensive. Results for the wrong side of the tracks are really very rough but also very cheap. The cheapest in the nice sort of areas are studio apartments, but as cheap as they are, I'd like more than one room... I work in the inner city so wouldn't mind going there, but its not cheap at every. As an almost 23 yr old single male, student - what sort of place should I look for? - I only study part time and my job is 9-5, five days a week. I'd like somehwre I can invite friends, have girls back to, and basically just have some privacy and time to do my possess thing. every the stuff you don't receive at home :) Next thing - I wasn't involved in the initial settling last year, so I have no idea about the foundation stuff in a rental property - hooking up utilities and things - with the realestate mostly do this or do I have to contact providers? What do I need to do to set a place up for myself? I know none of us here are from the same place, but could you give me an idea of how much this could cost me? maybe a rough percent of weekly wage is more easy than currency? Last and least for now - how do I tell my mum? I've told dad, who's delighted by the idea :P but I haven't told my mum yet, and she gets very touchy about these things - sort of, "So you don't like living with your mom????" to quote direct :) - any advice? I'd really like to dive on this just after my birthday, so probably march time
